OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARhys A Jones writes Middle Grade fantasy and science fiction. Bucking the trend for having everything under one name, Rhys is one of 3 nom de plumes used by Dylan Jones who lives in West Wales (UK) with his understanding (very) wife, two dogs and a cat. He has three grownup children who have emerged remarkably unscathed into adulthood. When not writing Middle Grade fantasy and SF, he practices medicine, travels and must have an Indian meal at least once a week.

Writing as Dylan Jones in the 90’s, he wrote adult thrillers, two of which were made into TV movies by the BBC. His foray into contemporary urban fantasy will see him also published by Spence City under the name DC Farmer in 2014.

The Obsidian Pebble is the first of the Artefact Quintet.
